Lego has recently come out with its’ toy story line of.products, and the starting lineup is composed of six sets ranging from $11 to $50. Today we are going to offer toy store lego reviews of three of the sets, which include Army Men on Patrol, Woody’s Roundup, and Buzz’s Star Command Spaceship.

I love the small mini figure lego packs that they have been creating lately, and Army Man on Patrol is no exception. Set number 7595 comes with 90 pieces and has a price tag of $10.99. Over the past year, Lego decided to raise the prices on most of their small LEGO sets by a dollar, but it is still a very reasonable deal, especially if you like Lego army building.

This toy story Lego set features four army men, with pretty much the same appearance as in the movie. This pack comes with a green stretcher, a small jeep, and a small green backpack. Many of these LEGO figure parts are extremely rare, especially the regular green rifles that come with them.

To date, there has been no set that features green rifles, and the green backpack is especially rare. The Lego army minifigures also features stands so that they can stand on their own. The Toy Story jeep is fairly compact, and looks much the same as other smaller Lego vehicles.

How difficult is Lego set #7595 to build?

It certainly is not that difficult to put together, seeing as this toy story Lego set only features about 90 pieces. However, if you need to build an army, then this is definitely the set that you want to buy. In fact, you may decide to buy many Army Men on Patrol sets just so you can put together a massive army for the future.

It is unlikely that Lego will ever release a full military line due to their policy of trying to produce family friendly products, so that it probably the one of your few opportunities to actually get army LEGO men, unless you buy custom product.

The next Toy Story Lego set that we are going to look at today includes Woody’s Roundup, which is set #7594. Woody’s Roundup set features a fairly sizable 502 pieces at a price tag of $49.99.

So is Lego set number 7594 a good deal for the money?

Certainly if you like Toy Story the Movie, then the Woody’s Roundup LEGO set may interest you. It features a sheriff’s office, a cave for the prospector to hide his gold, and a jail cell. All three of these units are fairly easy to build, and it isn’t very satisfying to do so, but you can get some very interesting parts from this toy story set.

Especially of interest are the Toy Story mini figures, which include Woody, Jesse, Stinky Pete, and the horse Bullseye. The horse style of bull’s eye is unique to the set, and it comes with a watering dish.

Also of interest is the prospector minifigure, which comes with a very unusual beard. And of course, there is also an opportunity for you to get Woody’s sidekick, Jesse.

Other things to do with 7595 Lego set involve trapping Stinky Pete with a trap door, and also the gold mine has dynamite inside of it, with exploding rocks and secret traps. The evil prospector can also escape through an ejection panel through the wall of the jail.

As previously stated, Woody’s Roundup Lego set is not always the most satisfying to build, but it does have a lot of interesting parts, and you simply can’t get these types of toy story mini figures in any other type of Lego set and if you love the movie, then this set is definitely for you at a price point of $50.00.

The last toy story Lego set that will be reviewed today is Buzz’s Star Command Spaceship, which is set number 7593. This toy story set includes 257 pieces at a price tag of $29.99.

So what exactly is great about the Buzz Lightyear Star Command Spaceship?

If you are a fan of the history of buzz and his intergalactic mission, then you will definitely be a fan of this toy story Lego set. It features the buzz lightyear Lego action figure, complete with a set of wings and a bubble helmet. Set number 7593 also includes the Evil Emperor Zurg, who actually has a firing mechanism to shoot missiles.

Also included in the Buzz Lightyear Spaceship set is a moon buggy that deploys out the back of the spaceship, and the spaceship itself features a large canopy and an exclusive sticker on the bag of the LEGO spacecraft.

So what about buzz’s lightyear’s spaceship? Is it satisfying to build?

With a $30.00 price tag, set #7593 is a fairly satisfying build, and it will take an adult no time it all to finish it. The design of the Lego spaceship itself is fairly satisfying, and remains true to the Toy Story movie design. Many people will want this set just to get the Emperor Zurg LEGO figure and buzz lightyear minifigure, which are an extremely satisfying part of anyone’s building block collection.

In summary, the Toy Story line up definitely will shake things up in the LEGO universe, and I was a bit surprised to see that the product line come out, seeing as how the movies have been out for over a decade. Of all of the six sets out so far, I find the Army Men on Patrol Lego set to be the most satisfying in terms of value, but everyone has their own preferences. Overall, Toy Story LEGO sets never lose their appeal and it is a very satisfying experience to see Lego coming together with a classic computer generated movie.
